Artist Thomas Butler
We have several exceptional new works from Thomas Butler. Thomas is a very creative artist who paints oil on canvas. He is originally from South Mississippi. He grew up not far from New Orleans, spending time in the French Quarter and old historic streets of the crescent city. He was an avid sailer buying his first boat at 20 and exploring the islands of the Mississippi Gulf. As a very adventerous youth, he spent countless days as at sea, without even a radio, shark fishing and learning the harshness of the Gulf. Later in life, he became obsessed with travels to the west, spending weeks of time on the reservations of the the Dakotas, Nebraska and Montana.
Artist & Photographer
Today, he currently lives in the Hill Country of Texas north of San Antonio. As a master photographer and artist. his favorite themes in Texas are Hill Country and Bluebonnets. His western photography captures the old west with themes of homesteads, blazing sunsets and incredible wildlife scenes. He commonly travels to states like South Dakota, where he spends time on the Crow Creek Reservation and Nebraska where he photographs the Sand Hills. Montana and Wyoming are two of his favorite states and of course Texas his home.
